Hypalon or PVC Custom Builds

We take a great deal of satisfaction in our retubes and custom builds. PVC tubes generally last for 10 years apart from the UV degradation of the PVC itself the fittings and tubes come loose over time with the loss of glue. Some times it is economically viable or desired to replace the tubes and tidy the hull.

Often a boat that is no longer available fitted neatly on to the deck chocks or into the garage or dinghy locker. Also boats people have built for themselves or had custom made require tube and we can build those to your design and give advice on valves, over pressurisation valves, handles and fittings.

 

Retubes

The other option is to retube your worn out UV damaged hulls with either Hypalon or PVC. Hypalon which is undoubtedly superior is also unfortunately more expensive. We use high quality hypalon made by Flipo Pennell called Orca fabric this is used by most of the world’s industry leaders.

 

Alternatively we can retube in good quality PVC for boats that have a hard life or are likely to be damaged by paint, many boat owners prefer to regularly retube in PVC and have a new looking boat.

 

Accessories Fitted and Made

We can fit accessories to your boat e.g. extra handles, rowlocks, D-rings, seats, bow bags to keep your shopping and laundry dry, and canopies. We can also custom-make accessories for you.
